Your first conversation

Once signed in, you land on the chat screen. Starting is as simple as typing.

Send a message

1. Click New discussion (or simply type into the composer).
2. Ask your question in plain words, for example: “Tell me if there’s anything unusual about these booking entries.”
3. The answer streams in live, word by word.

The conversation is titled automatically from your first prompt, so you can find it again later in the sidebar.

Make it more useful

• Add a document from the conversation’s ... menu or by dropping it on the conversation (up to 20 MB). Aya waits until you ask before reading it.
• Enable tools via the “Tools” menu next to the composer if your administrator has connected MCP servers.
• If your request looks like actual work rather than a question, Aya may open a short clarification dialogue — see Guided work requests.
